Lauren Best

VP Placement

Lauren is a member of the McCombs MBA Class of 2026, concentrating her studies in venture capital and entrepreneurship. In addition to serving as VP of Placement for Venture Fellows, Lauren is a member of the McCombs Ambassador Committee and the VP of Events for Graduate Women in Business. She is also a recipient of the Forté Fellowship for women in business.

Prior to McCombs, Lauren spent five years working in the Telecommunications industry in Dallas. She started her career at AT&T, where she held various roles specializing in data analysis and business strategy in the consumer space. Most recently, she worked at Charter Communications, leading the SpectrumTV Quality Program.

Lauren graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking around Austin and skiing in the mountains.
