Erik Perfetto
VP Placement
Erik is a member of the McCombs Class of 2025, interested in private equity, venture capital, finance, and entrepreneurship. In addition to serving as the Vice President of Placement for Venture Fellows, he is an active member of the McCombs Ambassador Committee, Graduate Consulting Group, and Aerospace Management and Innovation Club.
Prior to McCombs, Erik graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil-Structural Engineering. During graduate school, Erik served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant instructing engineering physics to freshman students. For the past four years, Erik has applied his skills as a structural design engineer in Denver, CO. His diverse portfolio spans environmental infrastructure, residential, and commercial projects. Notably, he served as a FEMA Hazard Mitigation specialist, contributing to seismic/wind retrofits and bolstering the nation's infrastructure resilience to natural disasters.
Erik is currently registered as a Professional Engineering (P.E.) in the State of Colorado. Outside of class, Erik enjoys the outdoors with a passion for skiing, hiking, and running.
